All Bullock County Schools are open for face-to-face school, and all students are required to report to school each day unless they are out for an excused absence. Excused absences include: illness, death in the family, bad weather, legal matters, emergency determined by the school system, or prior permission from the principal with parent consent. For these absences to be excused, a parent note or doctor’s excuse must be sent to the school within three days of the student’s return to school to be counted as an excused absence. School staff are following all masking, sanitation, cleaning and social distancing when possible protocols to keep themselves and students safe. Daily instruction is needed, and loss of instructional time will harm our scholars’ academic performance. If your child has COVID or is quarantining due to close contact with a COVID positive individual, notify the school as soon as possible. Let’s continue to work together to mitigate the impact of COVID and keep our scholars in school.
